RESTA EXPO 2010
Mercoledì 12 maggio ci siamo recati a Faenza (RA) a visitare il Resta Expo 2010, l’open house della Resta Srl riservata ai propri clienti, esclusivamente su invito, in scena dal 30 aprile al 16 maggio. Un evento davvero molto interessante, che anche quest’anno ha fatto registrare ottimi risultati, con imprenditori accolti nella sede della società da ogni parte del mondo (ad esempio, durante la nostra visita erano presenti responsabili di aziende dal Mali, dalla Turchia, dalla Francia e dal Belgio, mentre per l’indomani ci si apprestava ad accogliere una numerosa delegazione proveniente dalla Repubblica Ceca). Grazie alla disponibilità e alle capacità di “far squadra” di Roberto Resta e del suo pool manageriale, l’organizzazione - che comprende tra l’altro servizio navetta da e per gli aeroporti, e ristorazione - è risultata ancora una volta eccellente.
Negli spazi dedicati alla manifestazione, che festeggiava il proprio trentennale, erano esposte tutte le ultime novità dell’azienda in fatto di macchine realizzate per ottimizzare ogni fase della lavorazione dei materassi, delle trapunte e dei copriletto, presentate ad agenti ed operatori con il supporto di dimostrazioni mirate.
L’evento vedeva anche la partecipazione eccezionale della Meca di Fagnano Olona (VA), presente con alcune macchine complementari a quelle della Resta Srl, grazie alle quali le due società riescono anche a fornire un pacchetto “chiavi in mano” ai propri clienti.
Nei giorni di esposizione, Resta ha coinvolto anche la Fondazione del Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche (MIC) di Faenza, di cui esponeva in sede alcune interessanti opere del Novecento.
Un successo più che meritato, per un’azienda italiana che da trent’anni realizza, nella città di Faenza, con le proprie forze, un evento privato di tale livello da riuscire a richiamare nella propria sede centinaia di clienti provenienti da tutto il mondo.

On Wednesday 12th May we travelled to Faenza (in the province of Ravenna) to visit Resta Expo 2010, the open house organised from 30th April to 16th May by Resta Srl for its customers, with admittance by invitation only. This extremely interesting event was a great success once again this year. Business managers from all over the world were welcomed at the company premises: while we were visiting, for instance, company representatives from Mali, Turkey, France and Belgium were also present, and the next day a large delegation from the Czech Republic was due to arrive. Thanks to the readiness and team-building abilities of Roberto Resta and his management, the arrangements – which also included an airport shuttle service and catering – were excellent, as ever. The spaces given over to the event – celebrating its 30th year – displayed all the company’s latest developments in machinery devised for optimising every stage of the processes in producing mattresses, quilting and bedcovers. These were presented to the sector operators and agents also through specific demonstrations. The event also saw the special participation of the Meca company of Fagnano Olona (near Varese), which was present with several machines complementary to those offered by Resta Srl. This constructive partnership means the two companies can offer customers a ‘turn key’ package. Resta also involved the MIC (International Ceramic Museum) Foundation of Faenza in the initiative, exhibiting some interesting 20th century pieces at the premises during the open-house period.
It was a more than deserved success for an Italian company that has been drawing on its own energies for 30 years to stage a private event of such a standard that it manages to attract hundreds of customers to its Faenza premises from all over the world.
