SoFar SoNear for WT Hotel Four years have gone by since SoFar/SoNear first made its debut on the Italian design scene with an ambitious project: pairing quality and creativity with good commitment to social responsibility. SoFar/SoNear has grown in these four years and has established important partnerships with workshops and professionals, such as its most recent one, with the architect Chiara Cantono of Well-Tech. This teamwork has meant that SoFar/SoNear has completely decorated the WT Hotel, giving guests the opportunity to explore a new identity featuring highly innovative materials, technology and design. The creative aspect of the project was inspired by the organic forms present in nature. The hotel’s suites and reception hall have been enriched with hand-knotted rugs, decor in viscose and a slightly 3-D effect introduced by SoFar/SoNear. Lilac and acid green are the colours chosen to endow the whole with a dash of glamour. Instead, the rooms’ furnishing finishes come from the brand new SoFar/SoNear Trevira CS ‘Hospitality’ collection. ‘Hospitality’ is the fruit of careful and patient research to develop exciting products meeting the practical needs of a modern hotel and hospitality in general. The entire SoFar/SoNear project will be previewed at the Host fair (Milan, 23-27 October). |
