Minister Brambilla to open SIA GUEST Next Saturday 21st November to Tuesday 24th sees Rimini Trade Complex play host to the 59th edition of SIA GUEST, the International Hospitality Exhibition. The event’s opening ceremony starts at 10.30 am in the central hall, where the ribbon is to be cut in the presence of Michela Vittoria Brambilla, the lady Minister of Tourism. The inauguration will continue, with a great event scheduled for 11am in the Neri hall: the congress “Internet and Tourism. Greater attractions for customers, greater efficiency for companies”. This initiative also sees presentation of the italyHOTELS booking portal that Federalberghi has created in partnership with Amadeus. ItalyHOTELS will be a tool available for use by all Italian hotels to advertise online and to offer a worldwide clientele accommodation and stays. A far-reaching ambitious project, it has involved many hotel owners throughout Italy in recent months. Those present at the Federalberghi congress organised in conjunction with Rimini Fiera include Attilio Celant, Principal of the Faculty of Economics at the 'La Sapienza' University in Rome, and Fabio Lazzerini, Managing Director of Amadeus Italia. Bernabň Bocca, President of Federalberghi, will act as master of ceremonies at this historic moment in the life of the most prominent category association for Italian hotels, while the importance of this initiative is underlined by the presence of the Minister of Tourism, Michela Vittoria Brambilla, invited to close proceedings. |
