Ecohousing Art Competition House Company presents the first edition of the competition ‘Ecohousing Art – the ImmobiliaRE Award 2010’ for junior and senior artists, designers, architects and engineers. The aim of the competition is to encourage new ideas and new excellence for inclusion within the economic and productive context of the housing industry. The competition theme: summonsing mental energy, expressions of the soul and specific know-how in the creation of works and projects promoting the Eco-system in its Man-Home-Environment balance. Eco-co-Housing = Ecology - Integration - Housing. The competition is open from 7th November 2009 until 31st May 2010. Registration is to be carried out by 15th February 2010. With this competition, House Company has set itself the target of sharing and assessing the products of Man-Home-Environment creativity during three phases: work in progress, awards in progress, art show in progress. House Company will produce and distribute a catalogue for every section (totalling 372 works and projects), issued separately, in an exclusive numbered set accompanying Immobiliare 2010, the housing industry handbook. House Company and the competition partner companies are providing prizes amounting to a total of € 30,000, to be divided among the various section winners. Thus the competition places the accent on the vision of the natural environment and the built environment as the drive in a new economy. Intended in the sense of the realistic intertwining of indissoluble balances merging environmental sustainability with natural-built environment integration, this environmental challenge is a great opportunity for Italy and its economy.
